Background & Education
Rick is a graduate of the University Northern Colorado and Cerritos College. He then practiced in Colorado for eleven years before moving to Kansas. He began working with Capitol Orthopedic Center in 1984 and has been providing high quality patient care to the Kansas City Metro area and the state of Kansas.

Rick has been using creative and innovative methods to treat patients for over 35 years. His experience and commitment to patients have given Capitol Orthopedic a great reputation for quality products and outstanding patient care. Rick’s specialty is concentrated in pediatric orthotics and scoliosis bracing.

LOREN J. DECKER, CP

Background & Education
Loren is a graduate of the prosthetics school at California State University, and he completed his residency in Kansas City. Prior to attending California State, Loren worked full time as an orthotic and prosthetic technician and practitioner assistant in Wichita, Kansas.

Commitment to Excellence
Loren is committed to discovering new ways to serve patients. He has presented multiple case studies to the Association of Children’s Prosthetic and Orthotic Clinics (ACPOC). Loren’s research continues with the Limb Deficiency Clinic at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri and he hopes to bring better care to patients through his work with ACPOC.
